You will write a traditional story book, Instagram Story, OR comic strip in which you describe the process of the Cell Cycle in an animal OR a plant cell. Your story’s theme must be based on one of the main goals of cell division (growth or tissue repair). You may work independently or in groups of up to 3 students to complete this assignment. You will complete a peer and self reflection. Your product may be digital or drawn/written neatly on paper. You will upload your final product to Google Classroom.

Suggestions for apps to use for a digital product:

  1. Notability (try using the new “create public link” sharing option to work asynchronously with a group)
  2. Google JamBoard or Slides (good for inserting/drawing images and synchronously collaborating)
  3. Book Creator One (free on Self Service)
  4. Canva (try using their Instagram story templates)
