I’m working on a public health question and need support to help me learn.
WELLNESS CLASS FOOD LOG: 25 points
Your 25 point assignment: Keep A Food Log for THREE DAYS.
The food log can be kept on paper, using an app or a specific program on the Internet.
You do NOT need any special equipmentas long as you record what you ate, you will succeed.
An example of how to complete this task on paper is included below.
Ive uploaded two examples of on-line, free food logs (from WebMD and American Heart Association) on Canvas in FILES. Leave the calories area blank.
We are NOT counting calories, figuring out nutrients, etc. Just keep track of what you ate/drank.
Record EVERY SINGLE THING you eat for those three days. Everything! Include what you drinkwater, coffee, alcohol .
There will be no judgement, so be honest and thorough!
Grammar, spelling and neatness do not count toward your grade. As long as I can tell what you recorded, thats what matters.
Email your food log OR post on Canvas to me by the posted due date.
If you keep your food log in an app or web page, youll have to take screen shots or if it will let you export it, send it to me that way. Canvas will accept uploads or directly enter text into Canvas.

WELLNESS CLASS FOOD LOG: A Real Life Example
Date/Day of the Week: Tuesday [date]
Breakfast (5 AM) 2 pieces of Dove Dark Chocolate, Pro-Bar Protein bar (chocolate mint flavor), coffee (one mug) with three creams. 12 oz. of water.
Lunch (11:45 AM) Beef-a-roo Deluxe Veggie Club, sweet potato fries, bottle of water. One Andes Mint!
Dinner (5:15 PM) Dr. Praeger quinoa burger (burger, GF bun, mustard, cheese, hummus). About 25 blue tortilla chips, with melted cheddar cheese on them. Vanilla Protein shake (pea protein, ice, almond milk, flaxseed, banana, spinach).
In between meals/snacks/beverages 9 AM-11 AM12 oz. bottle water
10 AM1/4 cup mixed nuts. 11 AM2 Dove Dark chocolate pieces.1-3 PM12 oz. bottle of water. 2:30 PMabout 25 GF pretzels with peanut butter. 6:30 PMVitamin Water Zero (orange) 500mL. One cup of chocolate Chex mix cereal. One Dove Dark chocolate piece.
