The intention is that you identify any standard system or interface you are using in your project. As well as identifying potential change that could improve it.
3. Engineering Ethical Responsibility
If tomorrow your idea turns into a product and is sold to the market. Then, please describe how your design will impact the environment. For example, have you made effort to reduce the use of lead? have you made effort to understand how your product will be disposed of, once it is not in use. For example, you remember all the old tube TV are now trash, which are too heavy to pick and are dangerous
If your idea is in use for safety critical system, have done any single point failure analysis, i.e., FMEA etc.
