Free speech and Persuasiveness Question

I’m studying and need help with a Marketing question to help me learn.

Part I

You may recall, in earlier lectures that I noted that “product” in marketing includes, tangible products, services, ideas, people, places, organizations. So when we think about an idea like “free speech”, we are marketing our view of what that means

Similarly, when we use words to convey concepts that might be counter to “free speech” — words like “cancel,” “woke” and “political correctness” – we are engaging in a form of marketing, marketing ways to create a more inclusive society (or not).

THE QUESTION

Should all speech be included or should some speech be excluded because it is hurtful or harmful? Who gets to define what is hurtful or harmful? What are your thoughts about creating a more inclusive society (or world)?
