The final project will require you to defend a public policy position using a model that includes ethical and economic data and information. The following are required components:
- Problem: A discussion of the public policy problem under consideration.
- Significance: Why is the problem significant or at least interesting?
- Data: Provide descriptive statistics and graphs. Provide visualization. Discuss processing of the data, cleaning, and feature creation.
- Literature: FIVE examples from PEER REVIEWED JOURNALS of how the types of models you selected were used in similar situations.
- Type of Models: Which ethical models do you reference? Why?
- Formulation: How did you incorporate / formulate / implement the ethical model?
- Performance / Accuracy: How does your model impact your position on public policy? Why?
- Limitations: What are the limitations of the ethical model for public policy at hand?
- Future Work: What would you do in the future to improve your position?
- Learning: What were the key learning point.
- You will provide an 8 to 10-page paper with exhibits where you describe your empirical results. You must provide data to back your conclusions.
