You are the manager for the radiology department in a large metro area hospital. One of the radiologists has been directing your staff to deviate from approved policy when performing procedures and, in a recent incident, was verbally abusive to staff when they questioned the deviation. What approach would you take, and how would you address the situation? What skills would be important to help resolve the situation? In addition to your written post, record a 1–2-minute mock conversation with the radiologist that demonstrates your interpersonal communication skills, and attach the audio file to your initial post.
