Oklahoma University Participation of Youths in American Elections Essay

Prompt: Youth voters in America perpetually turnout at much lower rates than older generations. Why is it that you believe youth voters are less likely to vote than their older peers? What might politicians do to encourage young people to vote (ex: What specific issues of importance to younger voters might be emphasized in order to get them out to vote?) Are there any unique challenges that young voters face that may be keeping them from voting at higher rates?
