FIU Wk 15 Expression of General Bias Language of Discrimination Speech Presentation

I’m working on a english question and need guidance to help me learn.

So I do have last speech about the paper you wrote and I want you to explain it very very basic to me and tell me what I say in the speech in general like if you gave me a quote including something like that or if you write to me a paper that includes everything I should say like you should say this and this if that makes sense to you.

Hello students,

During Week 15 your final speech/presentation is due. We will conduct the speeches in the same format we did the first ones, online via Ultra Collaborate. Please make sure that your technology is working properly during your session.

Below are the guidelines for Speech #2

Speech #2: Presentation of Paper 3

Conduct a 2-4 minute oral presentation to the class based on your findings from Paper 3. Your

speech should include the main points of your topic and the research that you conducted. Keep in

mind the suggestions to make your speech effective. You are encouraged but not required to use the

following: notecards, PowerPoint presentation, interactive audience feedback, etc.

Oral Presentation

During your oral presentation you will be graded on the following:

• Mechanics
  • Eye Contact
  • Enthusiasm
  • Tone

• Preparedness and Organization

• Content
  • Introduction
  • Main points
  • Conclusion

Due Date of Speech: Week of April 25

Possible points: 100

You have 2 available dates and times to select to deliver your presentation to the class. You only need to attend 1 of the sessions. Please email me by Thursday, April 22, by midnight with your chosen date. You are required to be in a quiet, professional setting during the duration of the session and must remain online until the session is over. Cameras are required to be turned on and this session will be recorded. If you have any concerns about this, please let me know.
