Northeastern University Putting Personas to Work in UX Design Web Report

Question Description

I’m working on a html / css project and need support to help me study.

Based on material in the article in assigned reading, “Putting Personas to Work in UX Design: What They Are and Why They’re Important,” create a persona of yourself. All personas exist within a context. Your context could be a graduate student at University. Personas also exist in a problem place. They represent the user for whom we are designing a solution. However, we haven’t defined a problem space, so we will not require that element in your persona.

In addition to context, your persona should include:

  • Persona name
  • Photo
  • Demographics (gender, age, location, marital status, family)
  • Goals and needs
  • Frustrations (or “pain points”)
  • Likes (things you enjoy or like to do)
  • Bits of personality (e.g. a quote or slogan that captures the personality)

The persona – all content – should be contained on one landscape page or slide. I provided an example in the lecture Tuesday night, but you do not have to follow that model.
