Geometry of the arms race

• Read “UMAP 311: Geometry of the Arms Race” and write a 1-2 page summary. As part of your summary, make sure that you explain the concepts of conditional cooperation, detection probabilities, security level, and the conclusions made in the UMAP.
• The second part of the project is to apply what you have read to the Chicken problem, in particular, do Exercises 1, 2, 9, 10 and 13 of the UMAP. (Note: check the answers to exercises at the end if you have trouble with these problems – you still need to explain the answers, for example, for Exercise 2 how do you determine equilibrium outcomes – just writing down the answers from the UMAP won’t give you points).
