I’m working on a writing question and need an explanation to help me understand better.

Some people conceive of a group’s culture as bounded and having “traditional” elements (practices, ideas, values) characteristic to the group and that have not changed in a long time. From what you have learned, can we continue to think of cultures as this type of closed, unchanging entities? To answer this question, think about how cultures change; how they interact with other cultures; the ways in which external elements are incorporated into a culture; global flows, etc. Support your answer with concrete examples from the course?
