Question Description

ICW: Final MLA Analysis Essay Fall 2020

To conclude your research project, you will write an analysis essay in which you support a thesis by integrating source material. This paper is your own argument, but you should take into account what you have learned during this course: include effective evidence and incorporate it smoothly, point out possible objections to your argument, use appropriate transitions, and explain why the issue matters.

The primary goal of the essay is to convince the reader to agree with your thesis by explaining, describing, and supporting your claims with effective evidence and reasoning. As part of your research process, be sure to critically evaluate the information you are including as evidence using the CRAAP Criteria to ensure that your argument is logical, fair and well-reasoned.
