You are required to post a photograph, add about 50 words of commentary about your photo, and then post a substantial response to one of your classmates’ posts.

Reading Summary:

The summary should be about 3 pages (around 700 words), and should include the essay’s subject (literally: what is the topic of the essay, e.g. “This article discusses photographic portraits of the Empress and how she used her image for public relations”), the research questions the author seeks to answer, and a discussion of the kind of evidence/argument the author uses to answer their questions. Your summaries should be clear, organized, and demonstrate your understanding of the essay. Include name, date, and heading; double-space, use 12-point fonts, and reasonable margins; your writing should be free of grammatical and spelling errors. Please include a title.
