Santa Monica College Renal Failure Disease Pathology Brochure

Learning Objectives:

This project will give you an opportunity to research information and expand your knowledge of a localized area of pathology in order develop an informational brochure. This brochure is designed to be shared with patients and anyone who would benefit from the information in your brochure.

Assignment:

• Choose a particular pathology or area of pathology.
• Find at least 3 articles (published within 5 years) relating to your chosen area of pathology.
• Choose a brochure design to share your information. You will need to identify and effectively communicate the key components of their topic area in a concise format. Strong brochures will demonstrate all necessary key elements in a visually appealing manner. Brochures can be in black and white, or color and be printed on regular paper. Brochures will be assessed according to a grading rubric provided.
