Perform your case analysis using the guidelines and resources identified in “Performing Case Analysis” and “Guide to Case Analysis”. Both these resources are found in “Case Information”.

The requirements for this Case Analysis are as follows:

1. Identify the factors involved in the case. Consider Economic, Cultural/Demographic, Legal, Financial, Human Resource Management, Marketing factors and implications on a global level. Name this section “Identification of Factors”.

2. Analyze <the company’s> competitive environment using Porter’s Five Forces Model (text pp. 49-63). Utilize company/competitor websites, and other media/information sources. Name this section “Analysis of Current Environment”.

3. Based on the information identified in (1) and (2) above, address the following:

a. What strategic alternatives (minimum of 2) does <the company> have?

b. Which strategy would you recommend for <the company>?

c. What do you see as the short and/or long-term implication of that strategy?

Name this section “Recommendations”

You may collaborate with other class members if you desire. You do not need to cite classmate’s contributions to your submittal.

The analysis report should be no more than 3 pages, single spaced, 12 font, Arial or Times New Roman. (Double-spaced papers are acceptable but the page limit still applies.) Remember to number your pages.
