Choose TWO questions to respond to.

1. Discuss how Symbolic Interactionist theory applies to social deviance, using the example of China’s Social Credit System OR Hacking Ashley Madison.
2. Explain the relationship between deviance and social control, as highlighted in Chapter 37 and the video reports in this unit
3. Explain and evaluate the social consequences of stigma labels using examples from the homeless youth study (Chapter 32).
4. Determine and discuss 1 strength and 1 weakness of the Symbolic Interactionist theory of deviance.
