UC Irvine Wk 8 Post a Photograph and Add Words of Commentary Discussion

You are required to post a photograph, add about 50 words of commentary about your photo, and then post a substantial response to one of your classmates’ posts.

This week’s question : Take a look at Beijing Silvermine: you can either go to their website (beijingsilvermine.com — go to “Gallery”) or their Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/beijing_silvermine/ (Links to an external site.) It is a trove of anonymous private photos from the past few decades salvaged from a Beijing recycling plant. Pick an image that seems to fit a vernacular photo convention (baby pictures/ wedding pictures? tourist or travel images? hanging out with your bros?) and describe the conventions they fulfill as carefully as you can.
