Sociology University of South Florida Social Construct Class Discussion

Here are the instructions:

For this activity, you will need to find a creative, yet informative, way to answer a series of questions. You can approach this as a news article and act as a reporter, you can draft two-page paper, or you can record a presentation. Either way, you have to have a thorough and supported argument so please plan in advance before you create and submit this assignment. The questions you will need to address are as follows:

1. In your own words, how would you define the social construct “class?”
2. What is the role of place when discussing class differences?
3. What is social capital and can you provide an example?
4. How does class impact children (their home, nutrition, education, safety)?
5. What can we do to help child who reside in low-income households?

As you can see these questions intertwine but are separate. It is your job to not only answer them but to make sure you weave your answer together. Please do not just list out a response.
