Florida National University Nurse Legal Ethical Dilemma Case Study Questions

In APA format, no less than 250 words, and utilizing weekly 9 course text readings from Roussel, Thomas, & Harris (2016) and additional scholarly literature please complete the following:

Case Study12-1 “To Report or Not to Report? Joe’s Dilemma” activity and case study questions 1-3 (pp. 353-354).

The case study questions include the following:

1. What is the first action Joe neglected from a legal ethical perspective?
2. What course of action should Joe have initiated, and what legal issues did he incur for himself and the facility?
3. Review the reporting responsibilities on any licensed RN to state licensing boards and identify actions that Joe should have initiated after the first discussion with the housekeeping supervisor. What actions would you take if you were in Joe’s position?
