The business Name is Candles business called Valentine ForeverThe product that I will include in my marketing plan is a particular type of candles knows as Forever Valentine. Since the target customers need to know the specifications of my product, the purpose it serves, and the materials used to make the product, I will offer a brief overview regarding Forever Valentines. First, a candle could be described as an ignitable wick that is embedded in a flammable solid substance such as wax and tallow, which offers light, and in some instances, fragrance. My product, which is Forever Valentines, is a certain variety of candles made using wax and is scented with various sweet-smelling perfumes to offer fragrance when being used. Moreover, this product is environmentally friendly since it is manufactured using pure wax. The reason for choosing this product that is made out of pure wax is because critics have shown that candles made with paraffin wax often release toxic and volatile organic compounds called carcinogens that may affect the consumer as well as the overall ecosystem. Therefore, my product being environmentally friendly gives my business a competitive advantage over other candle sellers in the market. The market that I would target for my product households, especially women with families. According to a survey conducted by the manufacture of the product that I intend to market and sell, 90% of candles in the marketplace are purchased by women. This explains the difference between the buying patterns of candles that are depicted by women and men. Candles are considered to among lifes little luxuries that are purchased by almost all households, among all ethnicities, and across all income levels (Candelier, 2020). Since I have an understanding of my candle business potential or target customers, I identified the best-scented variety of candles, Forever Valentines, which will give the customers immersive sensory experiences and satisfy their other purposes that are served by other varieties. My product will be accompanied by stylish packaging, an assortment of scents to indulge my clients and aesthetically pleasing and attractive designs. These various scents will offer invigorating, romantic, fresh, and sensual experiences to all the customers, and the buyers will be offered a description manual to select the scent that satisfies their desires. In order to secure a large market segment, I will offer my customers a fair and reasonable price for my product.I will utilize various promotion approaches that include advertising and campaigns. I realized that individuals trust personal reviews and recommendations as compared to advertising. This strategy will help in reaching and creating awareness to target customers who are close to the seller. However, advertising, which will involve the use of brochures, posters, and social media marketing (Facebook and Instagram), will be utilized. Promotional offers and discounted sales will be available to attract more customers and optimize my sales.ReferencesCandelier, T. (2020). Marketing Plan. Retrieved November 11, 2020, from http://b47g4.ntuentrepreneur.org/business-plan-1/marketing-strategyI enjoyed reading your post about Forever Valentine candles. Everyone enjoys candles for Valentines Day! I guess my question is would this be seasonal or year round and, is that’s just the name of the business. If so great! You mention that women loves candle and that’s your biggest target. Well, I think you should target men as well. Men love candles to especially when there trying to do something romantic for there girlfriend or wife. I would advise using the SWOT analysis with this plan so you may know your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats against other competitors. I had two friends who sold candles one did Scentsy candles warmers and other did organic scented candles it was very hard with competitors doing the same thing. They both ended up targeting military wives and singles online and face to face an their business flourish.Great post! Candles do sell!
