Amazon, Google, Tesla, Apple, the Mayo Clinic-Rochester, Cargill, Securian, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota, Delta Dental Plan of Minnesota, and Medtronic are all leading companies in their industries. Rank them 1 through 10 as exemplary companies today. Then rank them as you believe they will be in 20 years. Give an in depth rationale for each ranking citing sources for your rationale. This question requires research on your part. Cite in APA please.

1. Amazon. Amazon is a leading company in the US and delivers millions of products every day. I would argue they are the most efficient company in the world.
2. Apple. Apple is one of the largest, most popular, and most innovative tech companies in the world.
3. Google. Google is the most popular search engine out there and basically controls the flow of information globally.
4. Mayo Clinic. They Mayo Clinic provides vital medical research and innovations.
5. Cargill. Cargill is the largest privately held company in the US based on revenue and serves a vital role in providing food to the US.
6. Medtronic. Medtronic manufactures much needed medical equipment as well as develops new medical technology.
7. Tesla. Tesla is a very innovative company and is leader in the electric car and self-driving car industry.
8. Securian is a leading financial company that serves more than 21 million customers.
9. BCBS of MN. BCBS of MN is one of the leading insurance companies in MN.
10. Delta Dental of MN. Delta Dental of MN is one of the leading dental insurance companies in MN.

Rankings in 20 years:

1. Tesla. Tesla will continue to innovate in the future, and will be a leader in self driving cars and maybe even space travel.
2. Amazon. Amazon will also continue to be a leader and provide deliveries through drones and other new technology.
3. Mayo Clinic. There will hopefully be many medical breakthroughs in the next 20 years and Mayo Clinic will lead much of the research that leads to these breakthroughs.
4. Medtronic. Again, there will hopefully be many medical breakthroughs in the next 20 years and Medtronic will play a big part in manufacturing needed medical devices.
5. Cargill. Cargill will continue to grow. With global tensions rising it will be even more important to be self-sufficient and produce food domestically in the US.
6. Securian. In the next 20 years there will likely be major changes to social security and retirement, and the services Securian provides will become even more important.
7. Apple. While Apple will continue to be a leader in the industry, I see them falling back a little in the rankings unless they start to create new products besides their current iPhones, apple watches, mac computers and iPads.
8. Google. Google will remain relevant but will also drop back a little bit. I predict there will be big changes in the “big tech” industry and it will be more regulated in the future than it is currently.
9. BCBS of MN. With all of the changes to health insurance, it may be difficult for BCBS to adapt to the changes and remain a leader in the industry
10. Delta Dental of MN. Again, with all of the changes to the insurance industry, it may be difficult for Delta Dental to adapt and remain relevant.
