VIRTUAL MODULE D: GRAN PLOTS

For this virtual module, we will be re-visiting “Experiment 3: Potentiometric AcidBase Titration.” We will be using the data collected from titration of standard KHP with NaOH to compare an expected equivalence point, an end point, and an experimental equivalence point. We will also be calculating an experimental value of the acid dissociation constant (Ka) for KHP and comparing it to a known literature value. To do this, we will need to create Gran plots. Complete the III. RESULTS and IV. DISCUSSION sections from Experiment 3 (located on page 14 of this lab manual). Then use this information to write a Results and Discussion Report for Experiment 3.

You should include standard deviation, 95% confidence intervals, outliers, Ftests, and t-tests.
