The fictional Instigating Commission argued about in the play can be seen as a version of the real truth commission that was created in Chile in 1990, called the Rettig Commission. Let’s say you Googled that and found this article (pdf)

Open the article through the ELAC library and look at the table of contents. Copy/paste a couple of lines you might use to explain what a truth commission is, or perhaps to explain what specifically the Rettig Commission was in particular.

Next, scan through pp. 162-167 and copy/paste some lines of evidence which support either Gerardo’s positive views of the Commission or Paulina’s negative views. You don’t have to write them in quotations, but simply label your evidence as to how you might use it in your paper.
