Climate change is one of the major issues confronting our planet right now. While there are many angles from which we can examine the causes, effects, and impacts of climate change on our planet and its various populations, one specific way we can view climate change is through its impact on glaciers. Please take a close look the article and at each of the videos, and identify something from the article and each of the videos that you find interesting, surprising, or that is new information to you. What did you learn from reviewing the article and watching the videos, and how did they change or reinforce your views of climate change? Please keep in mind for the final video “What if All the Ice Melted, ft. Bill Nye”, you are only responsible for watching the first 5 minutes and 10 seconds of it as that is the educational component of the video. The last part of that video features a more politicized/activist message, and you are not responsible for responding to or acting upon it.
Please remember to post your response by 11:59 pm this Sunday, and I encourage you to also closely read/respond to/interact with your classmates in a respectful discussion of these videos.
