You willwrite a four-page assignment based on your reading of The Narrative ofthe Life of Frederick Douglass in response to the following prompt:

Referringto The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass as youronly source analyze how three separate events in the life of Douglass motivatedhim to risk his life by escaping to freedom to the North. Then offersophisticated explanations of three separate episodes that demonstrate howslavery corrupted whites. You need to offer detailed and comprehensivedescriptions of each event to demonstrate your mastery of the reading andprovide in depth analysis of how the events you describe corrupted whites or causedFrederick to seek freedom. Do not generalize. Describe specific events withspecific details.

You willwrite the assignment using the following format directions:

1-A separatecover page with your name, date the assignment is due November 20, 2020, titleof the essay (Frederick Douglass assignment), History 270, Fall2020 and also copy and paste the prompt onto the cover page.

2-You willuse a 12-point font, 1” inch margins, double-spaced, and no extra spacesbetween paragraphs. Format your word processor program appropriately.
