Please find the article online (or in SMC Library database – go speak with the reference librarian and tell that person you need a New York Times newspaper article) and read it. Now read a second Corner Office – “Building Trust by Daring to Show That You Are Human (Links to an external site.),“ an interview with Lars Dalgaard, general partner of the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. Compare and contrast the two articles. Then answer the following questions:

• What was most interesting?
• What was most surprising?
• What would you like to know more about?

Remember, college level writing will earn higher marks. So read the article, think about what it means to you, write one to two concise detailed paragraph and then revise it all before you post your work.

In the each Discussion, your grade will be based on (1) clarity of thought, (2) tying in the textbook concepts as well as personal work experience, (3) and finally college level writing in terms of sentence construction and grammar and punctuation.

I recommend writing your Discussion Posts in Word so that you can draft a good response and then spend time revising it to earn the maximum grades possible. Grammar matters and so does spelling. Spend time formulating a response; your grade will reflect the good work.
