SUNY Empire State College Week 5 The Three Behaviors Desmond Is Exhibiting Chart

Question Description

A problem that may arise with a very disruptive student is how to rank the behaviors for intervention. When there are so many problems, how do you choose the one behavior to work on first?

Begin this assignment by reading the Classroom Connection 8.2 on page 192 of the text. Identify the three behaviors Desmond is exhibiting that need to be addressed. Make a chart with these three behaviors across the top and the Priority Questions along the left-hand side. Within each box, answer each question as it pertains to the given behavior.

Using the information from the chart, which behavior should the team prioritize for intervention. Describe how you came to this decision.

  • The three behaviors Desmond is exhibiting
  • A chart that includes the three behaviors and priority questions.
  • Answers within the chart to each priority question
  • A discussion of which behavior should be addressed first and your reasoning for your choice.
