This includes any discussions we’ve had in class about the Cp and Cpk indices, as well as any readings you’ve been assigned about the Cp, Cpk, and Cpm indices. Don’t discuss how the indices are calculated in any detail, instead focus on what we should understand about our processes as a result of the values that these indices might take on. Describe how the values of these indices are each important in determining an optimal approach to targeting each process for an improvement initiative. Include in your discussion any anticipated impacts of considering the confidence interval around these indices rather than just the indices themselves.
