University of Maryland Causes and Current State of Air Pollution Research Paper

Research Paper Final — For this assignment, you will pick an environmental issue to investigate. Then you must contact aspecific community organization that is addressing this issue. You will use a combination of literatureand online ethnographic research to investigate your particular issue.

Four stages:1) Proposal (50 points): Write a 2-3 paragraphs (~350 words) description of your research issue, andinclude the references for at least 3 scholarly sources each that you plan to use to begin research.

2) Community (50points): Write a 1-2 page outline of your issue and identifying your communityorganization you will be researching.

3) Paper (100 points): Write a 1250-word (~5 double-spaced pages plus a bibliography) paperanalyzing and presenting your findings.This project will be discussed more during class sessions and a grading rubric will be posted tothe course website.
