1This week’s current event is civil liberties or civil rights in America. Look through major newspapers, such as the New York Times, Washington Post, or the Christian Science Monitor for the most in-depth coverage. Websites, such as Politico and ProPublica, are good sources too. Make sure to provide proper source information for the news item you decide to discuss. Post a summary and reaction to information you find once you locate a relevant article
