Topic: Veterans Suicide, 22-day, how can we bring awareness and help.
Thesis: Veterans suicide has become a greater issue within the military and our veterans. Suicide is something no one wants to talk about, however, when it hits home, and you lose more friends from suicide, there is no better time than to address the issue. Our military is why we have our freedom and as a society we should take necessary measures to ensure their needs in mental health and to alleviate the stress. We can help with expanding screening and evaluations of our military especially those who are in high risk, open communication, provide mental health without judgement, and lastly reducing access to lethal means.
