1. 1. 1. What is the logic of comparative advantage? According to this logic, why is it economically beneficial for the U.S. to import apparel from China and for the latter to import computers from the former? Be specific in your discussion.
      2. What are trade bargaining and bargaining power? What were the two main groups that engaged in trade bargaining during the Doha Round? Discuss also the ethical implications involving the bargaining process.
      3. What is the Prisoners’ Dilemma and what does it postulate about trade cooperation among states? Be specific in your discussion.
      4. Under what conditions is trade cooperation among states likely to occur? How does Pareto Optimality explain the outcomes of trade cooperation?
      5. How does the WTO’s dispute settlement mechanism work? Are the decisions of the WTO binding? Explain also the leadership role of the WTO.
