During week four of practicum rotations, I have made progress on specific goals and objectives. One of the goals that I have made progress on is evaluating my nursing practice according to the guidelines of professional nursing practice. Under evaluation, one objective I have made progress on is that I can now analyze the knowledge that I have attained according to the rules and regulations of nursing practice for quality care provision in any health institution. Another objective under evaluation is that with the knowledge I have achieved, I can do what is expected of me in any health care institution to ensure that patients get the best care. The second goal that I have made progress on during week four of practicum rotations is that I can now make decisions considering factors such as cost, efficacy, and quality of care. I have made efforts to achieve this goal since it is important in any health care facility for operations to run smoothly. Under the decision-making goal, I can now evaluate the costs involved and determine whether they will generate profits or losses in the institution before they are implemented. The third goal that I have made progress on is that I have obtained skills that I can use to research to improve care quality in a health care facility constantly. I can analyze evidence and use it to come up with strategies to improve health care quality. Also, I can determine the strengths and weaknesses of the institution based on research that I have collected about the institution.
