Write a 500-900 word essay that answers the prompt – avoid summarizing and focus on an analysis of representation/ aesthetics and personal reflection/ development. Please write the word count at the top of the essay.
Please remember that this should include an analysis of specific scenes/passages and will require you to cite supporting evidence through specific examples from Levi’s Survival in Auschwitz as well as two other texts.
Examples from written texts should be cited in MLA style, and you should include a Works Cited page. For the purposes of this essay, you should include films in your Works Cited list, but you do not need to include in-text citations for these.

Ask a question of each text you want to include and then attempt to answer it. Keep the focus on a single element – the question that includes an explanation of how and why.
