Prompt: How Has Social Networking Changed How We Relate to One Another?

In terms of essay structure, it is easiest to focus on effects by offering a cause in the introduction (social networking) and effects in the body paragraphs (1 effect per body paragraph). I believe this approach is the best to pursue.

The thesis still needs to prove that a cause/effect relationship exists. Furthermore, offer qualifiers throughout the essay so as to avoid making absolute claims.

1. Write a Thesis Statement that establishes a cause/effect relationship and uses qualifiers as needed to ensure that no absolute claims are made.
2. Offer clear, fully-developed body paragraphs, making sure that the reader can see the relationship between the causes(s) and effect(s).
3. Remember that the purpose of the analysis is to answer the questions of “What?” and “Why?” (sometimes, it can also answer“How?”).
4. Make use of transitions.
