University of Wisconsin Madison Characters in Release by Stuart Dybek Discussion

There are three main characters in Stuart Dybek’s “Release”.

As you read, use your pdf annotation to track each character’s journey. Remember to note important actions, dialog lines, or thoughts which form each character in the reader’s mind.

Write three paragraphs, one about each character, defining who this person is and how they relate to others. You need at least two quotations from the story to support your brief analysis for each character. Use MLA citation style for “in text” quotation. No Works Cited page required!

After you post, comment on another post. Pick one of their characters and suggest something important about that character which you can expand on. Try not to simply repeat your own comments, but expand on theirs. (I will be posting a comment tomorrow)
