Information security is a top concern for government and business officials. The level of sophistication and the rapidly increasing threats of a malware attack is one of the top concerns for the government officials. Concerns start from the critical infrastructure that is considered a national security matter to normal business continuity and data integrity. These concerns have increased in recent years as we are heading to more adoption of IoT, Blockchain, and other emerging technology solutions.

Write a research paper in which you explain:

1. The current state of the malicious software programs, trends, and prevention and mitigation techniques

2. Explain the relationship between malicious software and its impact on the C-I-A triad.

3. Consider the critical role of access control measures on reducing the risk of malware and hacktivist activities.

4. Argue the need for organizations to take the necessary steps to implement security measures in relations to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability

5. Write clearly and concisely about topics related to application security using proper writing mechanics and technical style conventions.

Requirements:

1. The following sections should be outlined as Headers in the paper.

Introduction: Thesis statement, Overview, Purpose

Background: discuss the history of the topic

Discussion: identify benefits, obstacles, innovations

Conclusion: summarize the overall study, lessons learned

References: a minimum of three references with citations in the body
