Howard Community College How People Who Use Drugs Should be Treated Discussion

Although published a couple of years ago, it still seems to be very timely with what is happening today in the substance use world. Tony Newman, director of media relations at the Drug Policy Alliance, wrote an interesting piece entitled, “We All Use Drugs, So Treat Drug Users as You Would Want to Be Treated” (Newman, 2018).

After thoughtfully reading the article, using APA Style, choose one of the four proposals that you either support or reject, and discuss why you feel this way. Support your position with at least two references–preferably with each being a quality/scholarly peer-reviewed primary source. Remember, you must cite any source that you use within the body of your narrative in your list of references. Furthermore, you must properly cite any direct quotations in the body of your text. You also need to list your references properly using APA Style.
