Montclair State University Protestant Reformation in The 16th Century Discussion

Question Description

The Protestant Reformation is one of the most significant religious, political, social, and cultural events that has occurred in Europe within the last 500 years. The ripple effects of this movement continue to be felt today, not only in Europe, but around the world.

Therefore, this week’s question is quite straightforward: What were the religious, political, and social consequences of the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century?

As I have already stated last week, and will repeat each week to ensure there is no confusion or misunderstanding, to be considered complete, your response must be a minimum of 250 words. Moreover, you must also provide a minimum 100-word response to someone’s else’s main post. Please try to post as soon as possible to give your classmates ample time to write a response. It makes it difficult for people to do so when many, if not most, are waiting until the day before (or even only a few minutes before!) the assignment is due to submit their initial main post. On behalf of your colleagues, I thank you for doing this.
