For this assignment, select a current issue/problem in childhood language and literacy development in education, research the issue/problem, and present a position discussion with in-text supporting reference citations regarding an evidence-based strategy to best address/resolve the issue/problem. Review the writing guidelines document on How to Write a Position Paper found in the weekly resources. Your submission should address the following within your strategy:

1. Theories of language acquisition
2. Instructional practices
3. Forms of assessment
4. Technology use
5. Family involvement
6. Any additional supportive components

Length: 8–10 pages, not including title and reference pages.

References: Include a minimum of five scholarly resources.

Your submission should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
