University of Maryland Baltimore Theory of Egoism Reflection Paper

For your first Individual Reflection (IR), you need to do the following.

Think of a moral scenario or action. It can be anything which would count as such – that is, anything to which we could apply moral analysis. But feel free to use something you came up with in your group work leading up to this assignment.

Then pick ONE AND ONLY ONE of the following three theories:

1. Ethical Relativism

2. Religion (Divine Command)

3. Egoism

Once you have selected your theory, apply it to the action or situation, and argue for how the theory would resolve the action.
