Rolling out a system must be planned and managed. In our jargon, it is called

“implementation.”
Briefly address each of these 7 items + the timeline

1. Planning: Who will develop the system? (in-house/ outsource; why?). Provide a very high-level organization description of the delivery team. Will the implementation involve open source? Will you use COTS? Either way, explain the license agreement and the cost associated with either choice.
2. Development Methodology: What will you choose and why? Agile or not? Will you use Scrum or Kanban?
3. Data migration. Explain your choices and provide a timeline for the delivery of an alpha version. Even if the tech is acquired, API and data migration will probably be needed.
4. Testing: Most large implementation projects required a IV&V contractor, explain whether or not you will use one and why.
5. Proof of Concept / prototype. Explain your use of these phases
6. Infrastructure: Where will the infrastructure be located, for development, testing andproduction? Will you use a cloud environment? Or will you suggest a hybrid approach?Explain why.
7. Change management. A Digital Transformation is ultimately a cultural change. Explain howthe CEO and CIO will approach the changes that will occur within the organization. In broad strokes, discuss high level what would you propose in terms of worker types, training, etc. Here, address change management at two different strategic levels: Just for “your project” For the entire corporation’ s Digital Transformation

Project Timeline. Create a (very high-level) schedule for implementation. Include all the above milestones and more.
