1:Pre-Lab Submission Assignment

Pre-lab is essential for any experiment to ensure a smooth and safe process while performing the experiment. Follow the rubric provided in this page to construct your own pre-lab plan. Include the topics given below in the Methods and Procedures Section. The pre-lab plan needs to be written in your laboratory notebook or composition book. Make sure the writing is clear to read and the overall structure is organized. To submit the pre-lab plan to Canvas, take pictures of the pre-lab plan and create a single PDF file to upload to the corresponding assignment section in Canvas. Make sure it is readable before you submit it. The file type should be only PDF. Check the picture visibility before submission.

Topics you must include in the pre-lab plan under Methods and Procedures:

-List at least four different types of kidney stones. Provide the chemical name, formula, melting point, and solubility.

-Draw the set up for vacuum filtration and centrifuge.

-Write the balanced chemical equation of a reaction to prepare one type of kidney stone. (You can pick any type of kidney stone).

-Find three methods that potentially could dissolve kidney stones.
