Think of an effective, inspiring leader whom you have followed in your life (could be someone at work, but not necessarily could be from ANY area of your life.) It is OK if you identify them by name, or you can keep them anonymous if you wish. Describe this leaders traits that inspired you to follow them.

Discussion 2

Some folks believe that true leaders are born that way. Either you got it, or you aint got it. Others believe that leaders can be developed and trained: leadership skills can be acquired even if one is not naturally gifted with such.

Consider this question: Is leadership an innate trait with which one is born, or is leadership a skill that one can learn?
