Luckily, Reginald was able to impress his supervisor (and fellow coworkers) with his knowledge regarding performance appraisals. Widgets of America has never had any type of in-house consultant or I/O psychologist on staff, but they’re intrigued. The CEO of the company is so interested that she’s decided to give Reginald an opportunity to show his worth. She schedules a meeting with Reginald and tells him this:

“Look, Reggie. Can I call you Reggie? We need to improve our workplace operations, and I want to do that through conducting a training needs assessment (TNA). Once the TNA is completed, I want you to develop a training plan and then tell me how it’ll be evaluated to determine whether or not it is a success. I have reason to believe you’re the man for the job.”

Panicking, Reginald desperately wants to impress. More importantly, he doesn’t want to get fired again. He picks up the phone and calls you, knowing that you work in the exact same industry for a company that operates in the exact same fashion. Because you’re friends, you agree to help him with his assignment. Specifically, he needs help with the following:

-In 3-4 paragraphs, explain how you’d implement that training program and list out any key components of it.
