UCI Impact of Racial Discrimination on the Quality of Care Questions

I’m working on a writing Other and need support to help me understand better.

In this week’s Reading Journal, read the attached CP sample and record your reactions, thoughts, questions, etc. You may also want to compare this CP with last week’s sample, and think about which is more successful and why.

1. Is the problem the writer is investigating clearly articulated and specific? Does the writer cite sources to support their thesis statement?

2. How effective do you think the writer is in “putting scholars in conversation”? Does the writer show how different scholars have different explanations for the problem they have identified, or at least, that they emphasize different factors to explain the problem?
