I’m working on a writing Discussion and need support to help me understand better.

In light of our discussion about sympathetic versus empathetic educators, Tyrone Howard (2020) emphasizes the need for teachers to “develop a realistic, positive vision of where and how they believe students can grow academically and socially” (p. 48). Do you believe teachers are responsible for students’ growth academically and socially? Does it start in the classroom? Who should be involved in students’ growth and learning outcomes? How can a realistic, positive vision for students’ growth be implemented as Howard suggests? Consider potential frameworks and/or models to support your response.
