“Consider a police car pulled up one day and officers got out and “detained you” because a computer, using facial recognition and pre-crime programming, identified you as a probable criminal in a high-risk area. After running a quick check, you are released. How would you feel about this situation? Would you feel more protected or more threatened? Try doing some research into crime statistics and see if that changes your mind. Would you feel your privacy or other rights were violated? Why?”
