Step 1

I’ve posted three videos for you to view. As you consider what each speaker has to say, connect it with your task of public speaking. For this discussion:

Comment on something that you learned from each speaker.
What techniques did each speaker use to gain and keep the attention of their audience?
Tell which video was your favorite and why. Be specific.
Tell one thing that you will incorporate into your speeches – eye contact, open demeanor, vocal qualities, impressive opening, strong introduction and conclusion, good organization of information, use of visual aids, etc.

Three or four sentences about each speaker should be sufficient to address the topic adequately.
