  2. Brief overview of your research into background contextual sources for your issue (3 sentences). Then, for each source:
    1. Provide the correct APA reference citation with correct indentation, formatting, etc.
    2. Summarize: Identify the writer(s) and his/her/their background or angle of vision. This is a very important step for any analytical project. For interdisciplinarians it is uniquely important to introduce the writer in terms of his/her disciplinary perspective. You should do this in about 75

In this case, give a sense of where, specifically, you might focus your close-reading. At least 75 words.
    4. Integration: What is the new broader understanding you are bringing to the analysis of your problem/issue/question? What are you “adding to the conversation” and why does this seem important to a better understanding of your problem/issue/question?

Seminar Talk: Plan on a 10- minute Seminar Talk where you will discuss your approach to your project and your insights. An additional 5 minutes will be spent fielding questions in a question and answer period. Be prepared to discuss what contribution your project makes to the study of contemporary sources of trauma. As a part of your presentation, also be prepared to discuss the process of working on and completing this project, including such questions as: why you chose this project; what you learned about yourself in the process of completing the project; what you would do differently given the opportunity.
